This is a very heavy table lamp made of cast metal and slag glass. The glass panels are held in place by metal tabs and I've been afraid to unbend the metal in order to remove the glass panels for cleaning - which they sorely need. When I re-bend the tabs there's a possibility metal fatigue will result in them breaking off.

It was given to me by an elderly couple. She loved it and he hated it. I was more than happy to resolve the conflict by giving it a new home!

I had no idea what it was worth and just enjoyed having it. My cat liked to wrap herself around the base and sleep under the heat of the bulbs. Once I found out what it was worth ($500-$1000) I've put it in a safer place and the cat no longer has access to it lest she knocks it over!

Unfortunately one of the glass panels is cracked, in a corner partially hidden by the metalwork, likely reducing its value but that's okay since I'm not wanting to part with it anyway.

Unfortunately the husband has since passed away; fortunately the widow hasn't asked for the lamp back!

Kydur, This looks like an Empire Lamp Co. to me.
      2 things...........
      1. I spent many years cleaning my lamps, only to find out that dirty = age, and age = value. I have a few that I will never part with anyway, so I keep them clean.
      2. Replacing a panel is quite simple. I can recommend the best studio to bend a new panel for you if you wish.

      Hello,
This is a beautiful lamp, just lovely. I've been looking at some other Bradley & Hubbard lamps, sometimes I think peeps are so anxious to have an authentic Tiffany lamp that other makers are forgotten. Many such manufacturers employed true craftsmen/women, artists - I wonder if they thought of themselves as such?
