Can you tell us what your uncles' name was? My uncle took photos just like this as well. In fact, I was on eBay a while ago and saw one of my uncles drawings he did on an envelope during that time. I was pretty shocked to see it sold there but I spotted it right away. It in fact sold for a really good price.
My uncle was Tod H. Cohen. He was a Captain in the Army Air Corp during this time frame. I have dozens of pictures from World War 2. I don't think you can sell pictures so I just put them online so people can enjoy them as much as I do.
