Curious about this one. this is what I think I know about this piece.
I have for you today what I think is a fabulous Mid Century Elbee Fratelli Fanciullacci lava glaze pitcher with mythical lion/horse type motif. It is signed 30/52G Elbee Italy. It is done in a white and orange lava glaze with very wonderful gold highlights and a gold applied handle as well. This piece is about 9 3/4" tall by 6" wide at the curve of the handle. The opening is 4 1/4" at the spout. It is about 2 1/2" at it's narrowest point. The base is 3' across. These pieces are rare and difficult to find in as great of a condition such as this one. If anybody knows any more or if my attribution is incorrect. You see a lot of other types of Italian pottery. I learned about how the pottery was destroyed in a flood in 1966. maybe why they are harder to find?
Very VERY NICE !
beautiful!!

your very welcome itmidcent568!!!
Information i have gotten so far suggest that one, Elbee, was made by the Fanciullacci factory. However other information is that they are two different factories. Thus the reason for my need to be sure of where this actually came from. thanks to all for loves and help.
Thank you to all who helped.
this is awesome!! I love the orange and white , & what a cool shape.... ;-]
I missed this when it was posted. This is a fantastic piece of Fratelli Fanciullacci - I am so jealous!
I'm the one that should be jealous. I've seen your collection. lol you have too many, or not enough maybe? I got lucky finding mine for what I paid for it.
