This was in a box of old postal covers. This measures 2-5/8 x 4-5/8. The Stamp is a 3-Cent George Washington Cancelled Stamp. I am not a Stamp collector so I really do not know how to tell the Cancelled mark on this stamp. It does appear that it was off centered when they perforated it. Still trying to research, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and happy Holidays Collector Weekly Family !

Stamp is a type used from 1861 to 1875 - issued in several different variations. - Due to the severe off-center print, it may even be considered an "error stamp" - take this to a reputable stamp dealer.
