Okay CW .....I have no info on this.
I'm not even sure it's a necklace charm but the hole at the top gave me that idea.
I forgot about this piece until I cleaned out my purse.....yes it was in my wallet :) I always put very small jewelry items in there when I go second hand shopping.
Can't say I paid for this because every time I would go to Greg's shop and purchase multiple items he would always throw in a free item (always something very small) and usually a pottery piece but this time he gave this.... This is the last piece I got from him for free because the flea market closed down :(
Don't know what the little figure is on it?
and really don't know the writing on the reverse side?
Is it Japanese or Chinese?
Would really love to know the "meaning" of this piece....
does it mean good luck and fortune ....?

Sent picture's of this amulet to a friend who has a friend that is well versed in Chinese antiquities....maybe I will get an answer soon. :)
