    I purchased this old basket about a month ago. I've seen baskets of the same weave and similar shape that sellers claim were made by Native Americans, but I'm also wondering if it could be Polynesian in origin. The basket is 8 inches tall and 8 inches wide.Any help identifying this piece would be appreciated!
