Solid Iron Lance
Unknown origin
My Grandfather called it a "Boarding Pike", which was used to prevent enemies from boarding your ship during combat on the high seas.
It measures about 20" long, and the blade is 2" wide
It was forged from iron, and if one attempts to bend the blade, say, across your thigh, it will not do so. This pike is a very solid and formidable weapon.
My Grandfather said he had aquired it in the Caribbean someplace, and that it was older than the 1800's, possibly even the 1600's.
My father and I have never been able to locate another example of this type of weapon.
