Three-lamp Hanging Light

I hated this lamp the moment I saw it. It reminded me of the sort of tacky stuff I grew up with in the 1970s. But it only cost $5 at a thrift shop and I bought it with the intention of stripping it down to use the parts for some Steampunk creation.

When I started cleaning it up I began to develop a certain fascination for it. The style was a bit reminiscent of the old gaslights, and once the glass shades were cleaned up it wasn't looking that bad. I began to think it might look alright hanging as the main light source in my yet-to-be-built "Victorian" room.

So I'm keeping it all together... for now. There's no maker marks on this item and I have no idea what it's called to even begin trying to research it. Is it something original from what period? Or is it some tacky '70s kitsch as per my initial impression (my apologies to anyone collecting stuff from that era!). Any help identifying this one would be great!
