Brass Cauldron & Copper Funnel

These items belonged to an elderly client who was downsizing from her big house and moving into a Senior's condo complex. Her children and relatives had gone through everything and taken what they wanted and she was practically giving away the stuff left behind.

This cauldron and tinned copper funnel were apparently used every year when she was still making jams and preserves. The 13" diameter cauldron is heavy and has a wrought iron handle. The copper (or maybe "red brass") funnel is also quite heavy and fantastically large at 8" in diameter and 10.5" tall. It has been well-taken care of as there's no dents.

I paid $8 for the cauldron and $3 for the funnel. I just HAD to have the funnel!
