I had this with a Comanche pot with a lid that I'm putting by itself so I can post 4 pictures of each one.The Indian women has a name I can't make out on the back with what I think is Montero Art Studio 1980.It's made of plaster and measures 12" tall by 12" wide and is 8 1/2" deep. The hair is done in a way that it looks like individual strands and it's been beautifully hand painted.

You'll need to show us the back, where you say a signature is. The bottom of the bowl too.

      These are both really nice.

Thank you.I'm changing one of the pictures to the best photograph I have of the makers mark.I thought it could possibly be Montero or Monteray but I couldn't find anything by that name. It's a long name with several letters behind the date of 1930.The bowl has Comanche Pottery on the inside. Thanks for looking at this and emailing me back.

I believe it says Montero Art Studio Inc.

Based on the subject, style, form, and colors used, I would be willing to bet that the date is actually "1980", not 1930.
