    Not sure what it was made for but I use it for a garlic canister

    Love the crackle lid
    Marked on bottom with what looks to me as a fish
    Yes another Thrift Store find

      Looks like it might be a butter cooler...
      The butter is is inside the lid and the outer pott contains water....
