As for as I know, this is a Junghans German 18th/19th Century RA Pendulum Wall Clock. I have done a bit of research but can't seem to find an exact date/era. It is regulator clock & still has the winding key to wind both hands of the clock. It is in very good condition except for a few nicks & scrapes due to it's age. But, to me that just adds character. It's measurements are approximately 32-32 1/2" in length & 11-11 1/2" in width, with horse attached.

I would like to find out any info that would be helpful in learning more about this beautiful piece.

What SEAN68 said! Very nice example. My guess is that it might be a century old but I doubt that it is much older than that. The "R/A" on the pendulum bob is fairly common. It means "Slower" and "Faster" (Retard or Advance)...indicating the direction to turn the rating nut to regulate the speed of the clock. I've found the "Horse" ornamentation of several Junghans wall clocks. Here is a link to one which sold for over $200 back in 2011: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/9269690
Here is another which sold for $200 back in 2006: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/1775244

These clocks have different cases, but the horse finial is the same. There was no indication of date in the two auctions I provided links to. Perhaps someone who collects these types of clocks will come along and provide more definitive date and/or model information.

Sweet! Usually the right winding key is for the hands and the left for the chime/bell. As for the age Junghans started their business mid 19th century and though these clocks were popular around the end of the 19th century the ones from that time their top ornaments carved in individual pieces and glued together. Yours seem to be carved in one piece and sligtly less elaborate which would put my guess around 1920. But that's just a gut feeling. See if you can't find a serial number on the movement. Can you find a logo? e.g. 1913 Junghans started to use a starshaped logo with capital letter J and "UNGHANS" above (no initial J). 1918-1922, a capital I with "JUNGHANS" and from 1922 Capital J again with "JUNGHANS" spelled out.
Here you can order the e.g. 1910 catalog if you're really keen! Seems to be quite a few with the horse on top... http://www.any400day.com/1910%20Junghans/1910%20Junghans.htm

Here is the 1927 catalog thumbnails, still quite a few models with your horse on top:

Don't see any kind of logo on it. The horse on top is detachable & is not made of wood. It seems to be ceramic.
