I have had this Miriam Haskell set purchased at a consignment shop since the early 80's. It stands the test of time , remaining elegant to this day.
However I don't know when it was created or what the materials are made of. Two of the larger white beads were missing when I bought it.
I would appreciate help in learning more about it.

Hi! I think your jewelry is from the 1950's?--maybe milkglass and brass?
Miriam Haskell is always a score! This is a nice piece. It does look like milkglass but I don't know for sure.
There are lots of jewelry sites for reference. Just type in the word vintage before her name and see what you come up with.
Thanks Jewels and shareyourpassion. I have looked at some sites but the MH examples are so different then mine. Have either of you seen pieces similar? I also read that pieces were not labeled until later. However it says the labels were horse shoe shaped vs oval like mine and others on this site. Does horse shoe shape some how translate to oval?
Have either of you purchased a MH book and if so which one has the most comprehensive catalogue and images.
Thanks again, look forward to you responses.
Hi dtitzer, I don't have a catalogue, but from that link, it looks like they were marked after 1947, the horseshoe mark looks a lot different than your mark. The site wasn't clear about the years of your mark :) Ahhh hope somebody can pinpoint it for you :)
