When my wife was a small girl in the 1950's she would go with her father to see old houses he would buy to fix up and resell. A lot of the houses back then had furniture in them, and he would throw everything out before the remodel. My wife said she remembers always antiques being thrown out. This lamp was about to be tossed out when my wife asked her father if she could have it. He laughed and said "sure go ahead and take it" She has had it ever since. No idea who made it , no markings I can find .It has seperate glass panels held in with tabs. We love the warm glow it gives off when lite.

Google "slag glass lamp". Cast pot metal lamps with glass panels made by companies like Miller, Bradley and Hubbard, etc. in the teens and twenties. Miller sockets are sometimes signed so look closely, otherwise you can ID the maker by searching old auction histories and matching up the shade and base designs.

I just purchased a shade identical to yours. Base is different. Yours is probably correct, mine looks a bit large. No clue as to the maker. Have you found out anything?
