Remington "Roll-A-Matic" Electric Shaver / Circa 1959-60

I found this great vintage Remington Roll-A-Matic shaver still in it's original box at Volunteer's of America yesterday. Couldn't pass it up for less than five bucks. I love the design and quality. It's built like a 50's Caddy. Massive and heavy ! It's clean as a whistle inside and looks like it was never used. The cord is a bit stiff and there's a small piece of electrical tape by the plug. It even has it's little cleaning brush. I'm fairly sure it would work but I don't want to risk plugging it in with the ancient cord. They had the box wrapped with packing tape to hold the shaver in place. I hate when they do this. It damages any design and tears the surface off of older things. Luckily they didn't wrap the leatherette lid. I had to leave some tape on the sides or it would have pulled off the gold design. -Mike-
