Nice little outhouse . I would like to have one in the backyard for storage or something . I have had to use them plenty in times past for what they were made for . No thank you . I do not miss going out in a blizzard to use one !

I forgot to add . One of my aunts had one for years . She even had an electric line run out to it and had it painted nice on the inside with curtains up to the window and a light and fan inside . Still , no thanks .

I had one of these when I own a cabin in Red Lodge, Montana. It was no fun running out to the outhouse during the winter months. They are fast disappearing from the American landscape.

When we were young my grand parents had one of these. They had a bathroom in the house but that was just for the girls. All the guys had to go to the outhouse. That was in Mecca, Indiana. That was 50 years ago. I hated that thing!

my sister got one for mothers day a few yrs back.Had her son build it out by the pool and she put a portapotty in it so the grandkids would not drip all thru the house. She had us all engrave our names in it when ever we came to visit.I would love one just for the look and to hang things on.

Does anyone know where I can find information on selling an outhouse? My dad is interested in possibly selling the outhouse that is original to his house. It is over 100 yrs old and at least 95% original. Any information would be gratly apprecaited.

Gee I had one of these for real and in bitter cold winter you sure didn't want to go out :-( and to top it off had to run past water pump for no inside water and it dripped and left ice to fall on on way to outhouse . Today I am thankful for a real toilet :-) Love the Picture and yard is so cute :-)
