I *think* this is the same décor as one of Craig's tri-lobed hearts. The body of the vase has been mould-blown before the rim has been worked, leaving a snapped pontil/prunty mark on the base. The clear drips have then been added to give a double- or triple-whammy!
It is 21.5cm high.
Dripping with QUALITY !!
Wow, that one's different - I like the ruffled mouth - a nice touch on a trophy vase. :)
Nice example in a different shape. The color combination in this décor is quite distinct, and yes, the décor appears to be the same one found on examples of the tri-lobed heart by Welz... a shape I consider to be a very distinct marker for their production. It is also found on a couple of other distinctly Welz shapes I have identified.
Beautiful Welz-- I agree the clear drips are FANTASTIC!
