My Grandmothers chest

My mother passed recently and I received this chest.
My Grandmother kept it at foot of her bed and its been told my mother slept on top of it as a small child possibly 1940's at their home in south eastern Oklahoma. Its spent the last decades stored in Arizona at her aunt's home until my mother brought it to Arkansas. Built in cabinet shop, has copper hardware, floor has holes to vent? Top lid latches to a keyed push button lock, any information about chest design, date, use, manufacture would be great.
I plan to restore and give it to my youngest sister.
