This Swiss-made Jura Premix juicer belonged to my paternal grandparents and was passed around and used by most all the relatives - sort of the communal juicing machine. My memories of it as a kid aren't that great as it was used mostly in our family for making carrot juice. I didn't like carrot juice!

The company appears to still be in operation but I don't know how old this model is. Based on my earliest memories of it I would say 45-50 years for sure. I wasn't able to find any further info online but I've contacted the company to try and get more info.

UPDATE: my query was forwarded to head office in Switzerland and I have since received information that this appliance was manufactured in August, 1961.
