Vintage Extra Large Musical Knee Hugger Elf

Just back from the Rose Bowl and I actually spent most of my money on presents for other people. Did pick up a few things for myself including this elf. Also known as an Elf on the Shelf.
It is 10" tall from a sitting position. I included a standard knee hugger to show scale. He was made in Japan probably 50s/60s. Seeing the Japan sticker is now a good sign for spotting vintage items as everything is made in China now.
As you can see in the last two pictures there is a key in his back. He has a music box inside that plays Jingle Bells while the head turns.
