Last acquisition ( and enhancement )!
A stunning large moth, rhodium plated sterling, with paste stones, little blue cab eyes.
2.3/4" or 7cm wide!
Maker's mark WB is for Wilhelm Becker, Pforzheim.
I wanted to fill the openwork, but not permanently with enamel resin...
As it is not for sale, I went for thick tracing paper cut and glued in some points to give a camphor glass effect.
As always, I'm very glad of my project :-P, and would be glad too to get your thoughts about it.
Thanks Phil for your nice comment and love :-)
Thanks Jewels, melaniej, pops, weirdpuckett, Belltown, Vetraio, and nutsabotas6 for moth loving
