    This is a tricky, technically demanding decor...look close to see how the small spheres of color come together. They look like small basketballs. This example matches exactly as pictured in Das Böhmische Glas, band IV page 53. Often confused with the Argus decor which is found only in a color called "spreading chestnut", the only difference between the decors is the base glass color. This color is called metallic red. Its also more commonly found in a yellow ground.

      Nice piece and a great example to show of the PG 3/430 decor. You are right that this decor is usually seen in yellow and the "metallic red" ground is often confused with Argus! Details, details, but so important to know when collecting Loetz!
