I already posted one of these boxes, but then, I found one more!
They are almost neon orange when seen in sunlight, and have a gold-pink iridescence.
I have never seen this shape before?
They have shelf-ware indicating that they are of older date.
As a group they appear to be of common origins. I have not seen the shape of the covered pieces before, most specifically the finial on the lids. Very nice colors, cool finials...... No idea who produced them, but none of them strike me as Kralik production at all.
Thanks for posting these... they are very cool. examples.
welzebub - thank you!!! They are a mystery. And yes, the red crackle bowl and these orange bowls feels very related also when seen in reality.
It's the same type of glass, the same type of iridescence.
A friend of mine has two more orange bowls of the same glass, but different shapes. One has a metal rim and handle (the metal is unfortunately unmarked).
He also has a lot of millefiori glass resembling Kralik millefiori! Some could be of interest for you - I will try to make him post it here!
stunning !!
I look forward to seeing them, especially the shapes in related glass to these and the red bowl.
Wow! I love these! To me, the finials make the piece!
killer jars!!
