I have been collecting fansfor about 10 years now.I usually come across them in garage sales.Many are from Republic of China and are dated around 1940's.
The American advertising fans come from ebay.I bought in 1 swoop from USA..Here in Australia we didn't have advertising fans like USA.
I love them all. I hace an old celluloid one of mums but not on display.It is to fragile.
To me my fans are like pieces of art.

It would be nice to be able to see the first pic in a larger size. Funny, never thought about ad fans much, and funny to think Australia doesn't have them. Of course Americans plaster ads on everything, nice to know some countries aren't like us in that regard!

Yes I guess it is funny we don't really have much history with advertising on anything much really.
