    The number following the slash is really 26 but the numbers before the slash illegible! If you're right, Steve will be my first piece Loetz, which will make me very happy (I am still learning and my definitions of things are probably very inaccurate).

      Thanks for the extra pics ... still difficult to resolve that first part ... Worth having a look at it under oblique lighting and magnification as it is sometimes possible to make out outlines even after the gold ink has gone ...
      ... (hard to photograph that!) ...
      Almost looks like UW run together
      I would be happy to keep it as Loetz if it was here ... The colours are appropriate ... The quilting in the glass is interesting ...
      The suspicion of "III"/26 relates of the mauve foundation which I have seen used on other "III" marked pieces ...
      May just have to keep waiting for an answer on that ...

      Hi Vladimir ... Not sure if you noticed this piece has been put up on Loetz.com as an example of "Early Loetz Production" (under "Identifying Loetz Glass) ...
