Can anyone tell me anything about these little hand painted button faces? My mom passed away and left thousands of buttons. They are among the coolest ones.

20 minutes later: Search here I think seven here are similar to the posted asian porcelain buttons shared by someone else. Identified as seven lucky Japanese gods. I flipped them over but can't tell if it says Japan. looks like other buttons? The other five, I see now are totally different? Like a plastic or glass material? Any ideas on those? Our these the proper categories to determine what they are and history?

40 minutes later. New photos' one of porcelains is larger. This show the seven god and the backs which are stamped with something.

    help

Next morning: I have found then in photos in a box, and as a part of necklesses. They do have something in the back that would let them be chained? Thanks for all the help. I believe they came from a Japanese woman, great decades long friend, who lived across the street from us in the 50's. Married an American officer serving in Japan after WW2. I spent lots of time with her as a kid. Remember her in a Kimono, and having to take my shoes off in her house in the 50's. Can't figure out how else my mom, from OK, would have got them.

I found a couple places with photos of toshikane 7 gods and these look very similar but they don't show the backs. They are pretty valuable if they are real. I even think I know how they got here an to my mom when we lived in Oakland in the early 50's. Thank you so much for the help.
