When my parents bought our first house 35 years ago, this machine was left behind by the previous owners. I do remember it working at one point when I was very young. I have hung onto it and brought it with me through several moves but have never been able to find any information about it. Can anyone help with an aproximate value or a model name?
I'm still looking. The closest I can guess is Vendo 123 junior. Can anyone verify that? Any ideas about aprox value?
it looks just like the westinghouse junior coca cola vending machine produced in the 1930s and 40's which restored are worth between 2k and 4k.... but your machine has a coin operated release on it so could be worth more?? the junior is usually a ma and pa store model that usually was rung up at the till for payment..... good luck
I've got one like this as well... The only difference between them is that mine also has a soda fountain attachment on the side. There is someone wanting to buy it from me and I am unsure of it's value. I'm not sure if it is the westinghouse junior.... If you find out anything else, please post it.
i have one too. mine has a inclosed opener catch on the front. am also lookin to see also what i could find on it history/value. should i hold or fold. was happy to find this little bit of info. i think mine is a bit larger.

I am preparing to purchase one of these machines from a friend of mine cooler still works .10 cent coins still in valt he is throwing in a couple of cases of old coke bottles never opened I do not collect coke products but I seen this and thought it would be perfect in my shop it is not restored but it is perfect condition outside inside is close to the one in the picture my wife thinks im crazy so i have to find out the value before i throw a bunch of cash down on it what do you think value is?
I must say DO NOT QUOTE ME I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL but if it is authentic and not a replica everything i have found. say they are worth 1k-5k U.S. dollars. value is determined by authenticity and condition. hope that helps? if you find any good info please post i would like to hear.

I have one of these. Only mine is missing a few parts, like the cap bucket and the inner bottle holder. My mother brought it home back in the late 50's before I was born. She was helping a friend with his trash business. It had been stored in a barn that they cleaned out. As I remember it worked up until the mid 80's shortly before my Grandfather passed away. He used it to keep his drinking water and beer in it. We also kept soda in it for me and later my two sons. The top did not spin any more until I worked on it with WD-40 and got it to spin again. For all I know it may still work. It was not used again after Grandfather passed away.
This is actually a Vendo 123 model. Ed is correct in that the cabinet is made by westinghouse and sold to Vendo Corp to add the coin op top. You can find several websites that sell reproduction parts by seaching for "vendo 123 junior parts"
We have a Vendo Junior but it has a porcelain drinking fountain on the side. Is it still a 123? Is it worth more or less with the fountain?
I am looking for the tray that goes inside the vendo 123 junior. The vendo 123 is the electric one not ice cooled. I could also use the cap catcher for the exterior bottle opener on the side. I may also need the rubber gasket for the lid. Please reply even if you have advice of how to use the machine without the tray.
I just picked one of these up in a trade. I just got the coin mech and rotating drum working again. Took a couple hours of cleaning and it works great. If anyone hase any questions just send me an email sc11012242@aol.com and i'll try to help. Got one in good shape. All together. I don't have a key to open it and the power cord is in unsafe condition.. Know where I might find a key. Ser #209957? Manufactured in Kansas City. 1930-1940
