    Hi,

First i thank you everyone who take time to write. I have found out its made in 1887. By the number 84 and o,875 i can tell the material is from russia silver mining. Consist 87,5% silver. Engraved hallmarks are a bear which used to made at 1880-1933 at swiss. Also there is silversmith hallmark RM in rectangular. About that i have found that the smith worked in Latvia and RM mean Richard Müller. The watch have been in my family from beginning, 6 generations.
About why i am writing here because i wanna know how much facts are correct and wrong. I dont know noth about pocket watch and all the information i have found from internet. Also does anyone know more about that watch? How common or rare it is? How much this watch is worth when it is repaired and workful?

I'm no pocket watch expert but I was speaking with someone the other day who had an old railroad pocket watch - and he was saying the thing that distinguishes those sorts of watches is that the 12-o'clock position is where the 3-0'clock or 9-o'clock normally is, like on yours. The 12-o'clock position is normally at the top where the winder and chain ring is.

So your watch may be a railroad watch in case that helps with your research. I'll be curious to hear what other people have to contribute and what you discover through your own research!
