The Chaser 1945 / Carl Kidwell Artist

The Chaser is a monthly "news letter" from the U.S. Naval Training Center in Miami Florida. This one is dated March 1945 and the artwork in here is exceptional!

I have blocked out the last name with respect for the addressees' family. I used to clean out probate homes and found quite a few of these there.

Awhile back I looked up and found that the artist Carl Kidwell went on to be an accomplished artist.

If I remember correctly, President Nixon was there around this time but I did not find his photo or name listed in the sports section of this or any other ones that I have.

I didn't want to take a photo of anything inside as I would have had to crease the binding. It's got it's original staples and is pretty fragile.
