Hey! I'm VERY new to bottle collecting, but so far I'm finding that I love it. I don't however have any knowledge as to what I'm doing or even looking for. I KNOW the place I'm digging is old household trash piles. I don't think there will be anything older than the 50's in there. Most of my bottles are screw tops. I have however found a few that seem interesting. I made a photobucket account just for them. If you are really interested in bottle collecting, I suggest you purchase a collector guide book dedicated to soda pop bottle collecting or bottle collecting in general. There are rare bottles out there, but a lot of them are very common. Keep digging and posting them. I will help when I can.

I'm afraid I'm in over my head. I have no idea what I'm looking for etc. I'm now over run with old bottles! lol But thank you for your help. I very much appreciate it.
http://www.gono.com/museum2003/museum.htm this site will help you a lot. most bottle with bad paint arent woth 1$ both these are poretty common. write a list of what they are and ill tell you the rarer ones. the green painted lable milk is worth at least 30$ . qt,28, 32 oz,sunkist , pepsi and sprite 1-3$ .the liquor bottle 1-2$. the rest are 10¢-50¢. bottles
oops almost forgot the cobolt blue milk of magnesia might bring 1-2$
