The first two photos are the front and back view of a blacksmith forged rosette. It might have been made for a horses show halter, I'm not sure. The third photo is a hand forged pintel that was probably made for a gate or door hinge. ....hotairfan
very very interesting. The forged rosette is especially interesting. Do you know what it was used for?
I really have no idea, but if you look at the rivet from the rear side, you can see that the length is long and never hammered on to anything. The smithy might have been waiting for a nice harness to fasten it to.
