I'm trying to find out the age, manufacture or origination of this chair. It is 31 inches Tall and 15 1/4 Wide. I think it's a youths chair because it's larger than a toddlers chair but smaller than a sewing or nursing chair. Also if anyone knows the name of the design carved into the wood on the back it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Sorry I'm new to this page I just found it and I'm trying to kind of figure out if you'd had any comments on this chair and do you know anything about the. I have one that is identical with the exception of the back is different (solid with a carved heart), but the canning (even the shape of it), the legs everything the size is the same. The gentleman that has it which is also my best friend is 67 and claims his great-grandmother had it. I have had to re-cane the seat however I have noticed that although the shape of your cane is the same however this one has double spleen around it. I believe mine is oak or Ash I'm not sure but I can assure you they are made by the same person or company I would appreciate a contact back kinda let me know thanks not sure if they're supposed to let me put a pic or not. By the way I still don't see where anybody comments on these and I have looked at several however I am looking at it on my phone LOL and my eyesight isn't what it used to be but I would really love to know what you know about your chair now feel free to email me or contact me however this page lets you
