I have a pair of these plates and I had a comment on an earlier unmarked character jug that i posted,hoping for somebody to identify the maker,and they mentioned BAYREUTH,so ,being the fidgety person that I am ,I knew iIhad something with that name,and after an enormous xmas lunch,I worked it off,by scratching through my rather messy hoard and found these plates.
