Can anyone tell me who the maker is of this piece. As far as I can get is that it is Daisy and Dots. The books I have only say many makers, and when looking online I find it either as Fenton or Indiana. It is approx 2" tall and 3" wide, it doesnt have the big flat dots that some seem to have. Thank you for your help.
Thanks to you, I now know what I have....I've got an amber color one of these.
From what I have found they are a toothpick or cigarette holder I believe. Hope fully someone will let's us know for sure.
many companies made and reproduced daisy & button novelty hats. and they were marketed for various uses: toothpick holder, match holder, salt dip, novelty. Duncan had several sizes in a 1880s catalog noted as: celery, spoon, toothpick and salt. This somewhat opal white milk glass is likely a later reproduction but not sure by whom.
Thank you TallCakes. I will research Duncan Glass
I believe this is a 1960's Fenton.
Thank you Shareurpassion, I will go the Fenton direction and see where I end up.
You're welcome! I have a cobalt one somewhere...
