Issued Feb 1966 One Dollar Replaced Ten Shilling note.
Front has Royal court of Arm and Queen profile.,
Back Aboriginal Artistic Style. these with Five .Ten
Twenty and Fifty notes were paper lasted to 1985 when
changed to new Plastic note which are harder to
counterfeit and lasted much longer than paper
The Two Dollar. note Replaced One Pound Note
On Obverse side John Macarthur he brought Merino
sheep to Australia 1796 and started wool industry.
on Reverse William Farrer Developed breeds of Wheat
To with stand Disease Especially [Rust] Australia
