Found this is the trash about 20 years ago. It doesn't have a horn but still.
It has extra needles and a few records, including a Bing Crosby record and one that teaches your parakeet to talk(from the 30's I believe !!)
I have no idea what it's worth and not even sure I would want to sell it. I just think it's the coolest thing!!
The portable gramophones didn't have a horn and yours looks complete - pending what's in the box - that's a great find! The portable gramophones were made in the 1920-30s; you should be able to find a label or nameplate on the box that will help you research it. If not just do an image search for "portable gramophone" and you should be able to match the distinguishing features with others quite easily.
Commonly the cranks were on the right hand side, so with your crank on the front you may have a rarer item, but I'm no expert so don't take my word for it. Let us know what you find out!
