I found this rare Bullwinkle Bulova watch with 14K Gold filled case. Dial displays both time and date. Unlike other Bullwinkle watches I have seen, this one is made by Bulova (usually only made by Buren or Hamilton Watch Company). Unlike the standard version, this one has Roman numerals, and date. It has glow-in-the-dark hour and minute hands. There is an image of Bullwinkle etched onto the back of the watch. It has a number on the back that suggests that it might have been part of a limited edition numbered series.
I have tried to research this item, but have not been able to find a single example of this watch online. Has anyone ever seen one like this? (Perhaps this is a prototype for a watch that never went into production.)
First one I've seen. Adam will probably have an answer, if guessing, the dial is pattern of the Hand Painted Series Jay Ward, he might have done them on other brand name watches..... but I really don't know. Verycool, thanks for sharing
