I purchased a set of seven paper dolls as a Christmas gift for my wife and I am hoping to learn any details of their manufacture and if there were others in this set. My wife collects antique dolls, so paper dolls of dolls seemed like a nice addition. The dolls are named Rose, Myrtle, Violet, Lilly, Pansy, Hazel & Blanch. Each doll is about 4 inches tall. At their feet above their names appears, "Copyright, 1897, By Martin Young, New York'. On the backs are fold out stands with directions on how to assemble the dolls and near the top are loops for hanging. These were found in a collectible shop near San Francisco.
I've searched the web for the copyright holder and the doll's names and I have come up empty. Any info would be appreciated.
