I don't know much about this item. I bought it because I liked it. It was used as a prop in a movie I was working for.
I did some research but, didn't come up with anything about this particular brand of beer.
I do know Blitz beer was around most of a century and was based in Portland, Ore. They sold out to Miller or Pabst in the early 2000's.
Other than that the sign is a mystery. Any help in it's history would be appreciated.

Obviously a "take-off" on Blatz beer & probably just a movie prop.

Looks like a common tavern sign probably given out by the distributor for advertising purposes. Check the back for the manufacturer's lablel.

bluderbuss2-Blitz beer is not a take off on Blatz. It was regionally made, like Coors. It just stayed out there. The sign was used as a movie prop, ture. But, it is way older than that.

aghcollect Manufacturer was in Milwaukee. No longer in business.
