1948 Mercury Convertable and '47 Lincoln Continental V-12
Both cars have the stock flathead engines.....The Connie was found in Santa Cruz CA and the Merc was a Texas find. The '35 Ford Pickup was my first custom It is a '35 ford body on a 1940 Ford coupe rolling chassis with a Columbia 2 speed rear end. Tuck and roll and juice brakes!

Both 1935 Ford pickups I've owned. The tan truck was my workhorse.....Bought it in 1960 I drove continually for 17 years (3 flathead engines, 4 transmissions along the way). I was forced off the road by a drunk driver on a mountain road in California in 1977..............one end-over, three roll-overs, upside down in a dry creek bed, but no injuries...Tough truck!!!

The 48 Merc was featured in the karate kid movie, "Wax on", Wax off", was it not? !
Great looking vehicle Trio, and a hell of a roll over ride you took!
      Great Post!
