    Material that has lovely market scene has a signature in picture I've put up I have tried finding French connection or African I think it's an Asian market scene it's quite a large piece of material 85cmx40cm

      A woman I was living with had some heart problems & I was the only one else who knew the business so ran her French "boutique" for about 6 mos.. We had mostly batik stuff & almost all of it came from Bali. Wish I could remember what I was retired from back then? Well, we had some really nice batik things but don't remember any pieces that actually had characters in the print.

      Yes I was wondering if I should call it batik I have never seen this style of fabric art before so I am having trouble finding the background to it
