Can anyone identify what this is please? The marks S.L circled, there is a star 44 PO, 825, AOR in a rectangle.

I'm not sure what this little creature is, Panda perhaps. It has no tail, the stone is discoloured on the reverse side. The markings on the base & foot read S.L encircled, on the foot is a small star & next to that what looks like 44 PO in a rectangle (I'm not sure if it is a P, could be an F - it's very close to the O) below that is 925 in an oval (not 825), below that is AOR in a rectangle. I don't know how old it is, what it is, what stone the torso is or where it came from. I purchased it from a second hand store in Brdigetown, Western Australia earlier this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.
