    Rolls Razor Shaver made from 1922 and finished 1958.
    This Razor Imperial No 2 Chromed Plated.6 inch x 2 3/4 inchs
    It had two detachable lids one carried a stone -other a leather
    it was Stropped and Honed in its case, It was fast and easy
    to sharpen but noisy as it slapped stone and leather.
    changed hands in late 1950 new owner decided to
    stop razor manufacture and make washing machines.

      Wow! I have this exact same razor. Mine did not come with a travel case, but it does have the original instruction sheet for using it. These were made in England and patented there as well as here in the US. It has a date stamped on one side in the emblem of 1927. It is well used, but the hone and strap are in very good condition. I can barely make out engraved on one side of the blade in faint script "Best Sheffield Steel" and on the other "Rolls Razor Pat Nos 24578 242 1/8. I wonder what it's worth?
