This was an incredible Christmas gift from my collector friend. I have always wanted to add a large Loetz Elephant to my smaller opalescent elephant. I am blessed to be able to say he is in mint condition and has wonderful red eyes and white tusks! Very blessed to be able to add this rare Loetz Figural elephant to my humble collection. This posting is my 600th posting on CW!
Special thanks to Brian, for letting go of such a beauty. Very much appreciated :) Also for another friend for finding this piece and saying to me to go for it!!!

This elephant is fantastic - in my Loetz ignorance I never even knew they did animals, but of course they did it with their usual skill and beauty.

It would be hard to top Lee but the other day I seen a small jade elephant I have my eye on for when I can afford it & hope it will still be there as I have a small collection myself but not in the same class as yours
