These belonged to my mother-in-law. found them in an old sewing caddy. I can't quite read the trademark but hoped someone more familiar with it could answer my questions as to what it says and how old they are.
The only part of the trademark I can read is BROS. GERMANY - I cannot read the first word. Try putting some chalk or talc to "white up" the lettering. - it looks like HOWARD but I am not sure.
