Lyre Style Chair

Bought this chair used with no information so hoping to learn more about it. The red seat was added recently based on materials. The legs are extremely basic curved legs (I'll try and add a few pictures of them). There are no makers mark anywhere on them but from the construction they are old. Not sure what wood they are made of but they have a lyre design. Any information would be great.
