This was found a the tip !! For free so couldnt say no ;-)
After some investigation i think I've found a similar one on the web-
Its listed as a Wrythen Serpentine Stem Glass, Salviati 1880...
the picture of the blue glass version is from the web and is what my red version should look like as some of the red fine bits are missing !
I think its a beautiful glass & love it and have another wrythen glass which is early 19c ...
any more info is much appreciated ;-)

Thanks racer4four for your love & kind comments , yes i love a drink outta these type of glasses , over 100 years old !! Always makes me wonder who else has been drinking out of it & what they were wearing back then ,what the world was really like then !!
Well its made it through two world wars too so a bit missing is excusable; -)

i have just bought a venetian vase clear but with like carnival glass effect but with the same detailing on the handles will put a photo up i bought it for a pound at the carboot sale but i have been looking at salviati and i think it is done by him lovely piece slight damage on handle Sharon

thanks surfdub will try and do it today in between work :) it is pretty normally i like lots of colour but it was the irisdescent colour that attracted me big word for me lol
