This picture is incredible. As you can see, the B-17 has had it. One of the crew has “blossomed his silk” in the lower left corner of the picture. Another crew member is just out the back of the right wing.. The order was abandon ship, three engines dead, we can’t stay up. You really need to zoom in to see the crew bailing out of the plane
