My parents own these paintings.how can I find out something about them.these were also purchased in Rochester NY.they also have old looking furniture like an old big trunk.Can these items have any markings on them and where do I look for them.

Do not look like paintings -- Looks like a Print/illustration to me. Found some others on Ebay for you to look at -- for an Example of other V.A.P. Co 1939 one that you posted
