Gypsy male and female cast iron wall hangings

I picked these at the KY 157 garage sale last year and can find nothing on cast iron wall hangings on the internet or books to validate them. They were so neat that I just had to buy them and put them in my stash. There are no manufacturing names or artists signing that I can can discover unless its under the rust on the back side.

The condition is still in good shape with the exception of a little scrape on the females right arm around the elbow otherwise really good shape.

Size- Each panel is 9.5"wide X 11.5" high.

Please help this amateur picker solve the mystery of their origin or at least where I can find more information.
